In my long term test report in the issue on sale this week (14 August) you’ll see that me and my mate, Sue, spent the weekend riding round East Anglia taking in sights and sounds that you lovely blog readers suggested.

Here’s details of the routes and where we stayed.

Friday night’s route:

Peterborough to Reepham to Lowestoft

Where we stayed on Friday:

Pontins, Pakefield Holiday Park, Kessingland, Lowestoft, NR33 7PF

The accommodation was very basis but adequate as we were only there for a few hours before we headed to Ness Point to watch the sun rise at 4.30am!!

Saturday’s route:

Lowestoft to Horsey Windpump to North Walsham to Blickling Hall to Blakeney to Hunstanton

http://goo.gl/maps/TqZ6h

Where we visited:

Horsey Windpump

North Walsham – Bike Museum

Blickling Hall

Blakeney Quay

Hunstanton

Where we stayed on Saturday:

Rosamaly Guest House, Glebe Road, Hunstanton ,PE36 6BS

We received a really, really warm welcome from Bob and Sandy, they couldn’t have been more accommodating. After a very good nights sleep we were greeted with huge full English breakfast. We could have parked on their patio but felt confident the bikes were secure as it was a quiet back street.
