How would you like your R1?

Yamaha has been asking for opinions on a whole host of new colour schemes for its R1. The bike is due a revamp and insiders now believe the 2002 bike will be offered in plain blue, plain red or in a tasty black/gold combination.

But it’s the colours for 2003 that your reactions to the pictures shown here will influence. Shown as computer generations on a 2001 R1, they were posted for a short period on Yamaha USA’s website.

” The survey is just an exercise to determine what colours and combinations you guys may be leaning towards. You can be sure we’ll take the results very seriously. So keep a look out, ” said Yamaha USA’s PR manager Brad Banister.
