Spanish tuner Radical Ducati is set to launch its first complete homologated road bike later this month – the RAD 02 Cafe Racer.

Designed around Ducati’s two-valve and three-valve V-twin engines, the bike has been developed around two versions of Radical Ducati’s own frame, in either aluminium or steel. The aluminium frame weighs just 4.1kg, while the steel version is 8.2kg.

The firm is also set to reveal two race version of the bike, with full fairings. The top-spec RAD 02 Corsa, with the aluminium frame and carbon fibre bodywork, weighs just 130kg. A RAD 02 Endurance machine is also to be offered, with lights mounted in the sides of the bodywork.

The styling of the faired machines is the same as Radical Ducati’s earlier RAD 01 machine, which was sold as a bolt-on conversion kit for the Ducati 999. But the RAD 02 models are all to be sold as complete bikes, built to order to match the buyers’ specifications.
