The world's lightest Hypermotard

NCR’s new Leggera 1200 Special is the lightest Hypermotard ever – shedding an astonishing 57kg from the already minimal Ducati thanks to a strict titanium-only diet, while gaining 20bhp.

Based on the 1100 Hypermotard the vast majority of the parts are in titanium, the front brake is in ceramic-carbon and the bodywork in carbon-fibre.

Engine work includes new bigger-bore cylinders, NCR race cams, titanium valves, and magnesium engine covers, yielding 110.2bhp. A short MotoGP-style exhaust crowns it all.

The bike is priced £87,800. Rather a lot. But try making a 115kg Hyper for less!
