The army-style, matt khaki paint job is an official Triumph – but very limited – colour: According to the Middlesex dealer’s Kevin Hall just eight examples were available in the UK with this bike being Lilley’s only remaining example.

So, to make it even more temptingly mean, the dealership is offering it with official Triumph black bars, bar end mirrors, seat and radiator cowls and an aftermarket Werkes silencer –in place of the usual £1000-worth of accessories standard Triumph offer –all for the standard Speed Triple OTR price of £8199.

“The Speed Triple is a rugged bike, and this look takes that ruggedness to another level”, says Hall, who saw one of their two models walk out the showroom after only 15 minutes. “The military style reminds our customers of M*A*S*H.”
