Free Akrapovic exhausts with new Yamaha R1

A free set of Akrapovic replacement sport exhaust silencers is the latest Yamaha inducement to buy a new 2009/2010 Yamaha R1 from over 55 official Yamaha dealers.

Slovenia’s finest carbon-clad and stainless steel silencers – valued at over £1000 – will be ordered and delivered (within 28 days) to the supplying dealer and fitted free of charge, with no adverse affect to the machine’s 24-month warranty.

Yamaha’s exhaust offer is for a limited period only and is only for the R1 – MCN’s 2009 Machine of the Year and present holder of WSB and BSB championship titles, of which the winning bikes all ran with Akrapovic exhausts.

The new cross-plane crankshaft powered R1 was one the biggest selling street bikes of 2009.
