BMW has confirmed it will be putting a version of its Concept C scooter into production and the bike will go on sale in 2012. (If you can’t wait until then, check out scooters for sale right now).

The radical concept, a crossover of a motorcycle and scooter, designed to show the future for BMW motorcycles was first unveiled at last year’s Cologne Show.

Feedback for the project has been amazing and BMW have now confirmed a production version of the bike will be at this year’s Milan motorcycle show. Check out more details and video of the Concept C.

However, it won’t have lasers fitted and blue tyres as per the concept. BMW Vice President of Design David Robb recently told MCN: “Sadly we won’t have lasers fitted and however hard we’ve tried we can’t find anyone to make blue tyres.”
