Triumph Explorer special editions

1 of 2

Triumph has announced a limited run of special edition versions of the Tiger Explorer XC model with just 50 examples of each being made available.

The two models have been designed to celebrate the link-up between the Hinckley factory and the motorcycle expedition specialists Globebusters.

Available in either matt black or matt blazing orange, each bike has been designed to handle the toughest of challenges. Alongside heated rider seat and grips, the special editions have been fitted with a taller screen, headlight protectors, radiator guards and CNC machined front foot rests. Accordingly, every bike comes fitted with a sat nav and mount as standard, alongside a tank pad, panniers and roll bag.

The Explorer has undergone a number of other cosmetic changes including painted pannier lids, mounts, footrest hangers and fog light surround to blacked-out grab handles and handlebars.

The Globebusters-inspired Tiger Explorer XC SE is priced at £13,999 OTR. Only 50 models have been produced and will be available from selected dealerships from April 2015.
