Kawasaki reveals model updates

Kawasaki’s Z1000SX has been upgraded for 2016 with the model getting a race-inspired FCC clutch assist system (slipper clutch) for a lighter feel at the lever, and ABS as standard. It will remain at £9699.

Non-ABS will no longer be offered as an option, and all 2016 Z1000SX models will be available in new colours which include three shades of lime green, blue, and metallic grey.

Craig Watson, Kawasaki UK Sales Manager, said: “Our engineers continue to work hard to ensure that the Z1000SX will stay at the top of every rider’s wish list. It’s feature-laden and remains such a strong proposition as the all-rounder that can a tackle a trackday or a two-up trip to
Europe.”

New colour options for Versys 1000

There are no mechanical changes for the 2016 Versys 1000 – hardly surprising as it was a new model for 2015 – but Kawasaki have announced two new colours. The existing lime green scheme is now joined by metallic grey and metallic titanium. The 2016 Versys 1000 price will remain the same, at £9949.
