MV Agusta Brutale 800 America revealed

To coincide with the America’s Independence Day, MV Agusta unveiled the special edition Brutale 800 America.

The limited edition model – the first 50 of which will be sent to the States – will come with a unique red, white, and blue paint scheme. The tank features a star-studded motif similar to the one featured on the 1973 MV Agusta 750S. The eye-catching red seat has been redesigned to offer better comfort.

The triple clamp will be laser-cut with the an American Special Edition logo and the bike’s production number.

The America comes hot on the heels of another special recently unveiled by MV Agusta, the RVS. The RVS is based on the Dragster 800 and uses lightweight carbon fibre and titanium to reduce the weight by 8kg compared to the standard machine.

In contrast to the bright red, white and blue of the America, the RVS looks mean and moody in black with red detailing.

The model will be officially unveiled to the public at Laguna Seca this weekend July 7-9, before going on sale in the US at a price of $14,998 (£11,606).
