Moto Morini Scrambler gets complete redesign

1 of 7

For 2018 the Moto Morini Scrambler has been completely redesigned, including a completely new trellis frame and trellis swingarm.

The new Scrambler takes inspiration from off-road bikes from the 1970s with the high bars, one-piece seat and extensive use of aluminium. The 17 inch wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres, should you want to take it off-road.

The suspension, brakes and ABS are all the same as the new Milano, unveiled yesterday. So that’s four-piston monoblock calipers up front, with a two-piston caliper at the rear. ABS is provided courtesy of the Bosch 9.1 MP ABS and can be switched off. Suspension at both ends is fully adjustable.

The engine is also shared with the Milano. In the Corsaro ZZ the engine produces 139bhp, but for the Milano and Scrambler power has been reduced to 110bhp.
