Supercross star Langston crocked by crash

Former World GP Champion Grant Langston has been sidelined following a huge crash on a triple jump at KTM’s practice track in Corona, California.

The supercross star suffered extensive bruising to his lower legs is undergoing further scans to determine the severity of the injury.

He will definitely miss this weekend’s round on AMA Supercross at the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan.

Langston said : " I hope nothing’s broken. But right now I can’t even walk without crutches. "

Although ruled out of the Michigan round, Langston hopes to be healthy for the AMA U.S. Motocross Championship opener at Glen Helen, California on May 12th.

Langston joins a long and distinguished list of riders out through injury this season. Jeremy McGrath, Travis Pastrana, Mike LaRocco and David Vuillemin have all had their seasons crippled by accidents.
