Byrne seals championship with victory at Cadwell

Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne is the 2003 British Superbike champion after taking victory in the first race at Cadwell Park today.

Byrne pushed pole-sitter and championship rival John Reynolds into second place, taking the win by over half a second and securing his crown. Michael Rutter took third place on the Renegade Ducati.
