Triumph has confirmed that it is going to field a team in the British Supersport Championship, as revealed in MCN two months ago.

Double British Supersport Champion Jim Moodie will be riding Triumph’s new Daytona 600 alongside National Junior Superstock Champion, 18-year-old Craig Jones.

For a full technical rundown on the bike and its riders check out the March 5 issue of MCN.

Jack Valentine is running the team, his former business partner Steve Mellor will be the Chief Engineer, and Paul Williamson will become the team’s Chief Technician.

The team has also managed to secure sponsorship from the likes of Pirelli, Mercedes, and Fujitsu Siemens, who will be providing all trackside and office computers.

Moodie and Jones are currently testing the bikes in preparation for the first race of the championship at Silvertone on March 30.
