Carmichael returns to dominant form

Reigning champion Ricky Carmichael won his second supercross victory of the year at Pac Bell park in San Francisco last weekend.

Carmichael overcame SoBe Suzuki’s Stephane Roncada on lap sixth, to finish ahead of Yamaha’s Chad Reed and David Vuillemin. Tim Ferry came fourth, with Mike LaRocco fifth. Kawasaki’s Ezra Lusk fell at the start of the race, but managed to come from last to eventually finish sixth.

The 125cc race was won by James Stewart, who finished almost 24 seconds ahead of Matt Walker. Walker was fined for a block which sent Travis Preston into the ” Finish ” sign, leaving Preston to finish eleventh, with his team mate, Chris Gosselaar, finishing third..

250cc race:
