Emmett heads first qualifying session at Brands

Sean Emmett has topped the time sheets after first qualifying for the first Brands Hatch round of the British Superbike Championship.

After a disappointing first round at Silverstone, Emmett is on a mission to show how competitive the MonsterMob Ducati can be at Brands, posting a time of 46.112. He’s followed by the Diena Ducati of Dean Thomas on 46.348, and John Reynolds on the Rizla Suzuki on 46.358.

And there’s a third manufacturer in the top four with Glen Richards currently holding fourth spot on the Hawk Kawasaki. Michael Rutter is seventh on the HM Plant Honda, with team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari in 12th.
