Kagayama back on track

1 of 1

Rizla Suzuki British Superbike rider Yukio Kagayama has ridden a bike for the first time since breaking his pelvis in a crash at Cadwell Park last year.

The popular Japanese rider spent the day riding a GSX-R1000 at Suzuki’s Ryoyo test track in Japan. And to show how keen he is to get back out on track, Kagayama pulled a wheelie the full length of the pit lane before going on to set a best lap time close to his personal record for the track.

In a bid to boost his fitness after the six month lay-off, Kagayama will continue to ride at the track until the Rizla Suzuki team test at Valencia in early March followed by the official BSB test at Donington Park on March 14.
