Clucas dies after Junior

Manx Grand Prix competitor Tommy Clucas has died from injuries sustained in Wednesday’s Junior race.

The Manx Motor Cycle Club made the announcement on Thursday, September 2.

Clucas broke the 120mph-lap barrier from a standing start in Wednesday’s race and was leading on the final lap when he crashed his CBR600 approaching Ballaugh Bridge.

The 36 year old Manx Electricity Authority supervisor was from Peel.
