Boxing Day ride-out

Ex-grass track champion Ian Towns has been in and out of hospital for 18 years with Multiple Sclerosis and on Boxing Day this year he will turn 70 years old.

Known as ‘Smiler’ in the hospital he has many friends as he is always willing to lend an ear and never moans about his own situation. His friend Mike Philpot wants to honour this man with a tribute ride to St Peter’s Hospital in Moulton. His idea is for as many bikes as possible to turn up at 2pm and go for a ride. He is also looking for marshals or anyone who can help in anyway.
