Youth MX calendar

The schedule for the 2006 British Youth Motocross championship has been announced, with a meeting in January to cover the future for the series.

Both the Auto Cycle Union and the BYMX committee will be holding a joint meeting in January, 2006, to discuss the future development of both Youth and Adult motocross and the way forward for the sport as a whole.

The eight-round 2006 championship is not under thread, and riders interested in entering should contact Sonia Goggin at the ACU on 01788-566404.

BYMX National Championship 2006:

March 12: Matchams Park. Matchams MotoX World.

April 1-2: Brampton. east Cumbria MCC.

May 27-28: Commerton Farm. Glenrothers Youth MCC.

June 17-18: Howton Court. West Midlands Y&A MXC.

July 1-2: tba. West Midlands Y&A MXC.

July 21-22: Ballykelly. Northern Ireland JMCC.

July 28-29: Desertmartin. Cookstown & DMCC.

August 26-27: Culham. West Midlands Y&A MXC.
