Honda releases mini-RCV

As reported in MCN in August, 2005, Honda has included a 99cc air-cooled single cylinder race bike in their 2006 range.

The RCV-Mini, known as the Honda NSF 100 in the US, has a four-stroke engine derived from Honda’s Ape 100 monkey bike. It has a five speed gearbox, with a claimed weight of 75kg. It’s not road legal, but it is capable of producing 7bhp with a bore and stroke of 53mm x 45mm, with a compression ratio of 9:4:1.

Tyres are 100/90-12 at the front and 120/80-12 at the back, with an overall length of 61.61 inches, and a height of 35.89 inches.

It’s listed with a $4999 price on the American Honda website., and you should be able to order one direct from Honda.
