Knight back in BEC

David Knight returned to the British Enduro Championship on Saturday July 29 and Sunday July 30, 2006, with a winning performance at the Tywi Enduro.

Knight dominated throughout, winning five of the six special tests on day one to finish 25 seconds in the lead, and gaining another 50 seconds on the second day. He’ll next compete in the World Enduro Championship in September.

“After the two races in Canada and the US I was a bit tired but I didn’t have any problems during the event. The tests on the first day were really slipepry. I couldn’t push as hard as I wanted to,” said Knight. “I enjoyed day two more because it was a lot more cut up and I was able to attack it more. All in all it was a good event and the club clearly put a lot of effort into it.”
