Limited trophy places

Places are now limited for the 2007 ACU Suzuki GSX-R Trophy next year following a successful unveiling of the bike at the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show.

Series organisers were assisted by Rizla Suzuki’s Chris Walker and Cal Crutchlow who unveiled the race prepared machine.

The eight round series will form part of the new ACU Dunlop Tyres MotoStar Cup for the 2007 season, which also includes Formula 125, GP 125, GP250, 1300 Open and Formula 2 Sidecars.

.To take your place in the new championship you will need £1,2040.25 for the season.

This gets you a brand new GSX-R600 with racing accessories, Dunlop tyres and entry fees for all championship rounds. A Dainese clothing package including leathers, boots, gloves and a back protector is also included.

And to attract new riders to the sport, the ACU is also adding a free Competitor Training Course and Novice Road Race Licence to the package, allowing new and existing club riders the chance to compete on a level playing field.

You’ll get full support with diet, fitness and sport psychology seminars. At the end of the season there will be two awards, one for the best rider under 23, and another for over 23.
