British Talent Cup dates announced

The dates for the inaugural British Talent Cup series have been released, confirming that the series will run alongside British Superbike, World Superbike and MotoGP events.

The series will see 22 young Brits, aged between 11 and 16 fight it out in 12 races held over six rounds to be the first ever British Talent Cup champion.

The series starts alongside the opening round of the 2018 British Superbike Championship at Donington Park, ahead of two further races at the Leicestershire circuit when the Superbike World Championship visits in May.

TOP STORIES

The fifth and sixth races of the year will take place at the Snetterton 300 round of the British Championship, before the youngsters take to the big stage alongside their GP heroes at the British Grand Prix at either Silverstone or Donington Park.

The penultimate round of the year will see the first of two European rounds take place when the British Superbike Championship visits Assen, before the season finale taking place alongside the final round of MotoGP at Valencia.

Riders will get their first taste of the Honda Moto3 machines they’ll race at a pre-season test at Valencia in March.
