Richards on BSB MV

Aussie Glen Richards is to ride MV Agusta for Q Motorsport in BSB. 

The exclusive 1000cc F4 SBK will be developed by UK MV distributor Three Cross Motorcycles.

Glen Richards finished 10th in the 2006 BSB Championship and Q Motorsports’s Mark Quelch said: “With Glen’s experience and knowledge of the British circuits we intend to be highly competitive.”

Richard Davies, Sales Director at Three Cross, added:  “MV achieved third and fourth places in the 2006 FIM Superstock Cup, an astounding performance since it was their first season in the highly competitive class.  

During its heyday in the Fifties and Sixties MV AGUSTA won 75 World Manufacturer and Rider championships and 207 Grands Prix races.

Up-and-coming Joey Redding will race a Q Motorsports MV Agusta in the National Superstock series.

Richards is also racing a Phase One Yamaha R1 in the World endurance Championship.
