The 2007 motorcycle racing season produced a dramatic year of surprise, drama and British success. But who do you think did enough to win MCN’s Man of the year award?

In MotoGP, Valentino Rossi failed to lift the premier class crown for a second year in succssion, following Casey Stoner’s unexpected dominance of the series.

WSB gave us some of the best racing, and also delivered British fans a home-grown world champion after James Toseland stormed his way to his second WSB crown.

BSB turned into another battle of supremacy between Honda and Ducati, with Ryuichi Kiyonari taking the title for the second year running.

And apart from the guys who won the titles, it’s been a year when British young guns came of age. Bradley Smith became the youngest ever British rider to stand on a podium in 125GPs, while in BSB Leon Camier and Tom Sykes were a sensation.
