BSB - Front row start for Rutter

1 of 1

Worx Suzuki’s Michael Rutter put his bad start to the weekend behind him to grab a front row start.

Free practice on Friday didn’t go well for him with two trips into the gravel. He fell at the hairpin during the first session and followed that up with a run across the gravel at the chicane during the second session.

A front row start has made his weekend so far, he said: “Fantastic, if someone had said to me on Friday “you’ll be front row,” I wouldn’t believe it. There is a good gang of riders out there and it is very close, it will be an awesome race tomorrow. It’s important to get a good start. I had a few problems on Friday just stupid things like touching the paint in the rain. It was a nightmare start but its ok now.”
