Superstock based superbikes are the way to go

I think that the superbike category provides relatively poor value for money compared to superstock.

The difference in lap times does not justify the difference in cost. The on-track spectacle is virtually the same.

If BSB became superstock based with all the top riders on bikes with very similar capabilities, the spectacle might even be better than it is with superbikes where there is only one real works team.

When cash is tight the main objective must be the best spectacle for the money – I think that Superstock could provide this.

If you want to retain the superstock category and have something extra for the main championship  make the difference purely electronic, so that the same base bike could be used in both categories.
