Cadwell Park BSB: Hill takes win number two

Swan Yamaha’s Tommy Hill has made it two wins out of three races with victory in the final race at Cadwell Park today.

Hill’s team-mate Michael Laverty got the best start, but was unable to pull away from the chasing pack. Hill made several attempts to overtake Laverty at the hairpin but ran wide on the exit several times, allowing Laverty to re-take the lead.

Once Hill made his pass stick there was no way Laverty could re-take the lead and he was now in the sights of Relentless Suzuki’s Josh Brookes.

It took a mistake from Laverty exiting Mansfield for Brookes to take second spot on the penultimate lap. Laverty was unable to get past Brookes and had to settle for third.

HM Plant Honda rider Shane Byrne finished fourth, ahead of Peter Hickman onboard the Tyco Honda.
