Former Australian champion Josh Waters will complete the lineup at Tyco Suzuki, partnering up with American John Hopkins at the Northern Irish based team.

Waters, who has a difficult year in the MCE British Superbike Championship with Milwaukee Yamaha, will be looking for an improvement in form come the first race of 2014 at Brands Hatch.

“Josh still has a lot of potential, and we haven’t seen the best of the lad,” team manager Philip Neil told MCN, who added that Suzuki Japan were also a part of the decision, keen to bring Waters back onboard the Yoshimura Suzuki for the Suzuka 8hrs.

Waters added: “I am really happy and excited to be joining Tyco Suzuki for the 2014 season. I’ve spent a lot of years racing with Suzuki in the past, and every year I was with them, they were very successful for me. TAS Suzuki is a team I’ve followed for a long time, and it goes without saying, Hector and Philip Neill run a great team, and partnering John Hopkins in the Tyco Suzuki set-up is an added bonus.”
