Brookes escapes FP1 crash unharmed

Josh Brookes was lucky to escape unharmed from a fast crash in Free Practice 1 at Oulton Park this morning, falling from the Milwaukee Yamaha at Druids half way through the opening session of the weekend.

On a fast lap, the Australian was making a pass on IanHutchinson, who was on an out lap at the time, but left himself with too little room on the exit, running wide and touching the grass before tumbling into the tyre wall.

However, the double winner from last weekend walked away uninjured, and his Milwaukee Yamaha team now have until 3.40pm to get the machine ready for this afternoon’s second session.
