MCN’s top ten BSB riders: 8th

1 of 1

With all the dust settled on yet another highly competitive year in the MCE British Superbike championship, MCN have taken the opportunity to look back on the season and sort our top ten riders – based on more than just race results!

8th: Stuart Easton

  • Championship position: 7th
  • Wins: 0
  • Podiums: 2

2014 was a big year for Stuart Easton, marking the Scottish rider’s first proper return to the front end of the superbike championship for the first time since his horror North West 200 crash in 2011. And he didn’t disgrace himself, building up a strong season and being unlucky to only just miss out on a Showdown spot.

Indeed, his performances in the latter half of the season could have left him in the top six comfortably, but it came just a little too late for the diminutive Scotsman.

But with a deal already signed to remain with Paul Bird’s Kawasaki team for 2015, he should be in a perfect position to carry forwards his form, and could well be a more regular visitor to the podium next season.
