Dan Linfoot and Jason O’Halloran will spearhead the return of Honda Racing to the MCE British Superbike championship in 2015. Linfoot, who had a breakthrough year in 2014 to score his first podium and to run at the front, joins the National Superstock 1000 runner-up who makes it his fifth season with the Lincolnshire team.

Absent from the series in 2014, the team have nonetheless continued to develop the bike that took Alex Lowes to the 2013 title, with both O’Halloran and World Endurance rider Julien Da Costa racing the bike, including a number of highly successful BSB wildcards for the Frenchman.

Speaking as the announcement was made, Havier Beltran (Honda Racing team manager) said: “We’re obviously very pleased to be returning to BSB for 2015 and happy to have Jason and Dan on board. Both riders have an incredibly positive attitude and they are both hungry for success, so there is no doubt in my mind that the two of them will make an excellent team. Couple that with all the hard work that the team has done over the past year in testing and developing the Superbike package and I’m confident that 2015 will see Honda Racing return to BSB in a strong position and capable of achieving top results.”
