The Racesafe marshalling team that will look after twelve rounds of the 2015 MCE British Superbike championship as well as both World Superbikes and MotoGP have completed their annual pre season training this weekend at Bedford Autodrome.

Assembling at the testing circuit owned by BSB organisers MSV, the team of volunteers went through a number of training courses, ranging from flag signalling, fire fighting and medical evacuation to dealing with general trackside incidents.

The team included a number of new volunteers, but Racesafe are continuing to recruit for the 2015 season. If you’d like more information about how to get free admission to the best seats in the house, follow this link to their site.

Speaking at the event, BSB series director Stuart Higgs commented: “We’ve had a healthy number of new recruits and they are now receiving a multi task training programme from the pool of experienced Racesafe team members who themselves are refreshing and enhancing their skills.”

“It will be a busy year again for the Dickies-supported Racesafe marshals as they will officiate at 12 MCE BSB meetings, two World Championship meetings and our UK test programme. Beyond that most members also marshal at many club meetings so for many it’s action every weekend from now until October, which underlines their extraordinary dedication and excellent skills.”
