Testing topper Mossey ‘just wants to get on with the racing’

MCE British Superbike newcomer Luke Mossey, who despite his rookie status topped pre-season testing at both Almeria and Cartagena, says he’s had enough of waiting an just wants to go racing now.

The Quattro Plant Teccare Kawasaki rider, however, is still ironing out the bugs in his ZX-10R package, and took to Mallory Park this week for a penultimate pre-season outing ahead of next week’s official test at Donington Park.

“Any opportunity to get out on the bike I am always going to jump at, but we needed to get some laps in before the Donington Park test as we had a small problem we needed to resolve, which now we have. I feel more than ready to get the season started now and I can’t wait to get out and race.

“I feel confident, but not over confident and I think the official test next week will be a good gauge of where we are at when all of the riders are on the track at the same time. I can’t wait!”
