Christian Iddon returned to the top of the timesheets to lead the way in both wet and dry conditions on the opening day of the tenth round of the MCE British Superbike Championship at Donington Park.

While he missed out on a spot in the top six Showdown after a tough mid-season, Iddon made a dramatic return to the front today to lap well within the circuit lap record to top the tables in the day’s only dry session.
