KAWASAKI has just released the first pictures and early details of its new four-stroke GP machine.

The factory has confirmed that the bike, called the ZX-RR Ninja, will be an in-line four-cylinder machine with a capacity just under the 990cc limit.

It’s expected to compete in selected rounds of the All-Japan Superbike series, a series for prototype machines, and possibly in the final rounds of the MotoGP series.

And judging by the first responses to the new ZX-RR on our chat boards, Kawasaki has a winner on its hands, visually at least.

kungfoobob says ” Looks sharp… as in fall off and slice you leg off sharp! ”

rogerdare wants to know: ” Why can’t they all look like that – Luv it ”

And billy whiz doesn’t seem able to control himself ” Oops. I’ve just come! ”
