Edwards’ bruising Aprilia debut

Colin Edwards and Noriyuki Haga began their pre-season tests on the Aprilia RS3 yesterday at the Spanish circuit of Jerez, with Edwards marking his debut with a crash.

The reigning WSB champ was unhurt and the pair spent the day with the team customising peg and bar positions and acquainting themselves with the squad and the new Michelin tyres – the first time Aprilia has run on the French rubber.
