Sponsor for Brit wildcard

British rider Dan Linfoot will be riding as a wildcard at the Le Mans GP, and he’ll be sponsored by the Swedish Teng Tools brand for the event.

Linfoot will line up for practice alongside the rest of the 250cc GP class on Friday, May 19, 2006, following a ninth place as a 125cc GP wildcard at Donington in 2005. The opportunity comes after his win at the opening round of the European 250cc Championship, which was his first time on a 250cc bike, and his first time at the Vallelunga circuit. It was also only the second time a British rider had won a European Championship race.
