No GP return for Neil

Neil Hodgson has turned his back on a sensational return to the MotoGP paddock after turning down an offer to rejoin the D’Antin Ducati team in 2007.

The 32-year-old was linked with the ride last weekend at the Valencia MotoGP round, but it has now emerged that German Alex Hoffman has retained his seat in the Spanish run D’Antin squad.

Hodgson continues to be linked to a return to the WSB paddock having already turned down offers in both British and American Superbikes.

Isle of Man-based Hodgson’s most favoured option is to join Carl Fogarty’s squad, just as long as Foggy can secure a sponsor in time.
