Nakano leaves Kawasaki

Kawasaki MotoGP team manager Harold Eckl has confirmed that Shinya Nakano will not be staying with the Kawasaki team for 2007.

Eckl has retained the services of French rider Randy de Puniet for next season, and has ruled out an approach for Japanese 250cc star Hiroshi Aoyama, who is contracted to ride with KTM.

There has also been a rumour that Max Biaggi could return to GPs with Kawasaki, although he has already signed to ride in World Superbikes for Suzuki, and the rumour has been strongly denied.
