Catalunya MotoGP: Stoner fastest in Warm-up

Casey Stoner has posted the fastest lap of this morning’s Warm-up session at the Catalunya circuit.
The young Aussie posted a 1.42.908, just topping Kawasaki’s Randy De Puniet who has been the surprise package so far this weekend.
Battered and bruised from falls at Le Mans and Mugello, De Puniet is wearing a modified set of leathers that have had 10cm extra put in around the knee to accommodate for the swelling.
John Hopkins was third fastest, closely followed by Loris Capirossi – one of the men involved in last year’s first corner nightmare crash.
Nicky Hayden was the fastest Honda in morning warm-up taking fifth, while pole sitter for this afternoon race Valentino Rossi is down in ninth.
