Estoril MotoGP: Mattia Pasini takes provisional pole for 125 MotoGP race

Aprilia’s Mattia Pasini grabbed provisional pole for Sunday’s 125 MotoGP in the last few minutes from Gabor Talmacsi.

The Italian recorded a best time of 1:45.115 two laps before heading in to the pits at the end of the session. He improved on his best time from this morning’s free practice by 0.8secs.

Hungary’s Gabor Talmacsi finished up in provisional second with his best of 1:45.466

Finishing off the Aprilia top three was Sergio Gadea with the Spaniard recording a best time of 1:45.497.

Honda rider Bradley Smith was the fastest of the two British riders in 19th position with his fastest lap recorded at 1:46.772. Danny Webb was 28th with his best time of 1:48.197 knocking more than a second off his fastest time this morning.
