Loris Capirossi still in negotiations with Suzuki

Veteran Italian Loris Capirossi is still locked in talks with Suzuki over a new contract for the 2010 MotoGP campaign.
The triple world champion has already told Suzuki management that he wants to delay his retirement for one more season and that he is willing to extend his deal to ride a factory GSX-R until the end of 2010.
Suzuki has a clause in Capirossi’s current contract where they can sign the 36-year-old before the end July.
But Suzuki is in no rush to push through Capirossi’s deal with the 2010 rider market frozen by Jorge Lorenzo’s on-going talks over a new Yamaha deal.
But Capirossi told MCN he expects to sign during the summer break. He said: “We’re talking and nothing is decided yet but I think 99 per cent I can say that, and I’ll sign before Brno.”
