Brno MotoGP: Mattia Pasini to test for Ducati

1 of 1

Italian 250GP rider Mattia Pasini is expected to test a Ducati GP9 MotoGP bike at Monday’s one-day session at the Brno circuit in the Czech Republic.
Pasini, who has won 10 125 and 250GP victories, will get a test on one of the satellite Pramac bikes, though is unlikely that he is a serious contender for a MotoGP switch in 2010.
The 24-year-old, who is currently fifth in the 250GP standings with one win at his home race in Mugello has never ridden a MotoGP bike.
A Pramac team spokesman told MCN: “Mattia should test for us on Monday and it will be interesting to see how he gets on.”
Factory Ducati World Superbike rider Michel Fabrizio will race for the Pramac squad in Brno this weekend. Mika Kallio has been moved to the Marlboro-backed factory squad as replacement for Casey Stoner, who is sidelined by his recent health issues.
