Party with James Toseland

1 of 1

James Toseland is staging another one of his successful pre-season send-off parties ahead of his second assault on the MotoGP world championship.

The double World Superbike champion will be entertaining his legions of devoted fans when he takes to the stage at Donington Park’s Paddock Suite – together with his band Crash – on Saturday, February 21.

Toseland will also be joined at the event by the Fabbagirls – the world’s leading Abba tribute band – who have performed with music icons including Lionel Ritchie, The Who, Billy Idol and Phil Collins.

In addition to performing their notoriously raunchy set, the girls will also feature on backing vocals during Crash’s performance.

After the performance, Toseland will be on hand to meet with fans to sign autographs and chat about the season ahead and the event is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with one of the biggest stars in MotoGP.

Toseland, who will be back on track in Sepang next week for his first test on the 2009 Yamaha YZR-M1, said: “I’m really looking forward to the send-off party.

Last year’s event was fantastic and it gave me a huge boost ahead of my first season in MotoGP. The party will be a good opportunity for me to thank all of the fans for their continued support.”

Toseland’s first race action of 2009 will be at the season’s opening race under floodlights at night in Qatar on April 12.

Tickets for the event (£15 each) are on general sale now and entry for under 16s is free! Call Gemma on 01652 680060 to book tickets.
