Suzuki boss Paul Denning breaks leg

Suzuki’s factory MotoGP boss Paul Denning has broken his leg while motocross riding last Friday.

Denning was riding in Dorset when he crashed and broke his fibula bone. He is still in hospital in Dorchester awaiting scans to assess the extent of the damage with Denning also suffering ankle and foot injuries in the spill.

The injury will prevent Denning from travelling to America this week for round 11 of the world championship in Indianapolis.

He was due to fly to Chicago on Wednesday but is hoping to be able to return to management duty at the Misano round on September 5.
