British MotoGP: Folger takes 125GP victory

Red Bull Ajo Motorsport rider Jonas Folger has taken victory in the 125GP race at Silverstone ahead of Frenchman Johann Zarco. Aspar Aprilia rider Hector Faubel finished third – his first podium of 2011.

All the Brits finished inside the points with Danny Kent finishing 10th, while Danny Webb and Taylor Mackenzie finished 11th and 12th respectively.

Championship leader Nicolas Terol struggled in the wet conditions, finishing eighth behind Sandro Cortese. Pole setter Maverick Vinales didn’t get a good start and was down in fifth. The 16-year old managed to work his way back up to third, but crashed out on lap 12.
