Estoril MotoGP: Cortese takes win

KTM rider Sandro Cortese has taken his first Moto3 victory of 2012 ahead of rival Maverick Vinales. Kalex KTM rider Luis Salom took the third step of the podium.

The final lap was a tough saw a tough battle between Cortese and Vinales, the youngsters banging fairings several times, before Cortese managed to out drag Vinales to the line.

Danny Kent finished eighth after battling hard for fifth place. He ran into the gravel along with Italian Romano Fenati just nine laps from the end. Fenati failed to finish.
