Pole for Zarco with Lowes confident of race pace

1 of 1

Johann Zarco claimed pole position by over a quarter second from Tito Rabat and tomorrow’s race looks set to be a close fight between the duo with Sam Lowes likely to be in the thick of things. It was Zarco’s third pole of the year and he looks to be in great form having won last time out in Catalunya.

While Lowes was half a second slower than Zarco his consistency in the session was very impressive with a string of 1m37’s the British rider told MCN that he’s ready to fight for the win.
